Each care package is unique, designed to meet the specific needs and desires of each customer. They can have as much or as little support as they need, at a time to suit them on any chosen day.
Job Role and Responsibilities
We are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader to support the Service Manager in the day to day running of the service. You will supervise a team of keyworkers to ensure that a high standard of social care practice and person-centred approach prevails throughout the service.
You will play a key role in supporting staff, service users, cares and families through the modernisation programme to deliver personalised services which promote community presence.
You will be required to support staff to achieve their SVQ's by assessment and effectively coaching and mentoring staff.
Experience of working in a similar role and environment
Full UK Drivers Licence
Willingness to undertake any personal development opportunities.
A care related SVQ Level 4 (or the willingness to gain this qualification in a given timescale).
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Able and willing to work flexible shifts at the weekends.
