Job overview
Working as part of the reception team within a busy medical centre the successful applicant will carry out reception and other general office duties.

What might a typical day in this job look like?
Successful candidates main duties will include:

> Maintaining computerised appointments/filing systems
> Opening mail and ensuring that all letters are scanned to clinical staff and indexed
> Organising repeat prescriptions
> Receiving and routing patients on arrival
> Answer general enquiries and explaining surgery procedures
>Receiving and updating requests for home visits

What qualification or qualities are required?
Applicants should have a minimum of Nat 4/5 in a variety of subjects.
Good communication skills and an understanding that confidentiality should be adhered to at all times.
