You will provide a welcome to people coming into the Advice Centre, signposting them to the information or service they require. Information may be welfare benefits; money and debt problems; housing; information for carers or volunteering opportunities. Key Tasks include providing a friendly face and practical help for enquiries. Signposting where further help or information can be obtained. Ensure leaflets are displayed and stock levels maintained. Respond to enquiries- phone and in person. Use IT to access and source relevant information. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Administration – photocopying information and printing.
