The aim of the arts worker is to support the Corner drop-in to develop and produce health campaign windows and other agreed pieces of artwork that are exciting and innovative for young people and the wider public to look at.

Organisation aims and objectives
The Corner aims to work with young people in a manner which reflects the principles stated in the "UN Convention on the Rights of the Child". It strives to redress the inequalities experienced by young people through offering them assistance to develop skills and confidence and support to move forward and make positive choices in their lives. The Corner offers, in partnership with other agencies, a broad range of health, information and peer-led services for young people. A wide range of reports and promotional resources can be accessed by contacting the project.
Experience of providing art on windows, or skills relevant to the proposed opportunity. A qualification in art/design would be advantageous, but not essential.
Generally costs of public transport are covered and if a volunteer is working for over a five hour period then lunch/tea expenses would be provided.
