Minibus Driver-RockSolid Youth Project


RockSolid are looking for minibus drivers to join the team of volunteers at our dynamic and busy organisation, which works alongside the community to provide a range of youth work services in the East End.
Opportunity details

We are looking to recruit three or four Volunteer Minibus Drivers. This would be on an "as and when" basis, and may suit someone with flexible spare time who is looking to do a little volunteering or to gather valuable work experience. In order to apply, we would ask that potential candidates have a clean D1 license, have been driving for at least 3 years and are over 25 years of age. It is also essential that candidates are able to meet the requirements for the Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme.
Organisation aims and objectives

RockSolid Youth Project is a community charity working in the East End of Dundee with young people aged 10 - 18. RockSolid encourages young people: to become more confident by expressing themselves and who they are, become active citizens in their community; and, owners of RockSolid through a variety of community based activities and a range of projects.

Experience required:
Requires a clean D1 driving license and to have been driving for at least 3 years.
Restriction details:
In order to meet the criteria for our minibus insurance policy, the driver must be over 25 years of age.
Travel details:
RockSolid is based in Douglas and Mid Craigie, but we use the minibus to travel to a range of locations across Tayside and wider Scotland.

Mileage rates on production of receipts at 45p/mile. Public transport costs reimbursed on production of tickets purchased.
