No two days are the same for the Dundee Museum of Transport’s Visitor Services Team. As the first point of contact for visitors you will be on hand to assist them during their visit.
Visitor Services Assistants look after all aspects of the visitor experience from greeting visitors, ticketing, serving refreshments and explaining the exhibits. Providing excellent customer service, our Visitor Services Assistants are the face of the museum and ensure that visitor queries and needs are met. Additional duties include, carrying out regular hall and facility checks, keeping visitor areas and the front desk clean and tidy and reporting any issues to the Museum Manager or Chairman.
Organisation's aims and objectives
Preservation and collection of historical and vintage vehicles to advance and promote heritage and education of the general public. To provide training in vehicle restoration, and organise meetings and lectures on a wide range of transport and vehicle subjects.
Customer service skills and experience of working in a similar customer facing role. An interest in local history would be an advantage.
From the City Centre, the museum is served by the #5 and #10. The nearest bus stop is at the top of Market Street on the Broughty Ferry
