Our Visitor Assistants team provides a vital point of contact for all audiences at DCA, demonstrating an understanding of and enthusiasm for our programme combined with excellent customer service and communication skills.
5.75 hours per week (Tuesday 1645 - 2300)
Working in our Cinema, you’ll welcome visitors, provide them with information about screenings and the wider programme at DCA, and help with any queries they might have. You’ll help to carry out audience surveys, ensure the Cinemas are always clean and tidy, and work closely with colleagues at Box Office to manage queues.
Previous experience of delivering an outstanding visitor experience in a customer service or hospitality role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Demonstrable knowledge and passion for film
Ability to promote DCA’s cinema and wider programme to a diverse range of visitors
Friendly and helpful disposition
Ability to apply and follow emergency procedures and react appropriately to unforeseen circumstances
Demonstrate a good understanding of security issues and remain alert to potential dangers and vulnerable areas in relation to the safety and security of the cinema auditorium and visitors
