Apprentice Receptionist – Dundee

Do you thrive on dealing with customers? If so, Concept Life Sciences are offering you the opportunity to undertake the Business Administration Level 2 Apprenticeship based at Dundee Technopole. Whilst studying for your Apprenticeship you’ll develop skills in business administration and customer services to support the business. You will begin a training programme involving managing incoming calls, greeting visitors and other front of house duties. The apprenticeship will be supported by Dundee and Angus College.
What you have to do:
Manage incoming calls and front of house duties providing a high level of service.
Greet and welcome visitors to the office ensuring they sign in the visitor’s book and informing the relevant member of staff of their arrival.
Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and projects a business-like image.
Book meeting rooms, liaise with staff and management around meeting rooms schedules.
Update and maintain your training record.
Monitor the system for stock control of items used in reception and meeting rooms.
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Effectively communicate any problems, training needs, grievances, issues or requirements you have to your Line Manager.
Complying with health and safety requirements of the site as stated within company policy, procedure and practice.
Any other duties your Line Manager deems necessary.
Act as an Ambassador for the company brand and values.
Excellent communication skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Interest in science.
37.5 per week with flexibility required to meet the needs of the business.
